All audio coming in the CABLE inputĭownload and Install VB-CABLE Driver Now! VB-CABLE is a virtual audio device working as virtual audio cable. Just discovered this, really have been wanting this feature, so thought I would share.ĮDIT: I am using a Win 10 PC, and a KATANA 100-HEAD with v2 Firmware.Donate and get two other Virtual Audio Devices: A little disappointing though, would have been much cooler and cleaner to route it directly through the USB cable. SUPER LATE EDIT 3: Sadly, I must have jumped to a conclusion on using the Primary as an input. This amp is so badass, it just continually amazes me. Same thing with the input, Primary lets you get everything post processing, while Secondary gets the signal as it comes into the Input jack of the PreAmp, basically DI. Since I am getting a DI kind of sound into the PC (basically what goes into the Input of the pre-amp), I can actually tweak the controls on the amp while it is playing back, or engage or disengage pedals to see what some other options are.ĮDIT2: I just figured this out: Depending on whether you select Primary or Secondary as your output on the PC, you can route the sound straight past the FX Loop to the power amp or route it to the PreAmp input. I can now record something, and then play it back across the same speaker cab I recorded it with. Using Audacity, that means setting the input to Secondary (2 - KATANA), and the output to the same. Turning it to ON allows the KATANA to accept incoming sound signal across USB. I found a setting at System -> USB called Loopback.
